Here’s a a travel trivia from the Lonely Planet. “The Great Barrier is larger than the Great Wall of China and the only living thing visible from space. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven wonders of the natural world. The 2000km (1240mi) conglomeration of colourful coral stretches along the Queensland seaboard and makes for some of the most spectacular diving landscape imaginable.” So really, there is no acceptable reason why I should not go. I went, I saw, I went diving and found Nemo (a clown fish) at the bottom of the Ocean. The scuba-diving gave me a headache from the water pressure but it’s all worth it. Nothing a couple of Nurofen and a relaxing massage in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef won’t fix. A must do!

TIP: You don’t need to go to a guided snorkelling tour. There is a netted free snorkelling area around the boat.
