Mossman Gorge is an 80 kilometres drive from Cairns. It is nestled in the Daintree Forest and contains the oldest, continuously surviving rainforest on earth. A short relaxing stroll through the lush rainforest whilst observing the local wildlife and fauna will take you to the crystal-clear water cascades over large granite boulders in the Mossman River Gorge. Rerfresh yourself by going for a relaxing swim in the crystal-clear water along with the other tourists. The place can get a bit crowded but find a nice spot to settle and you might be able to have a nice quiet lunch.
TIP: You can do an independent walk but your will learn so much from the indigenous guide.
